Wellington Fly Control

Flies can quickly become a problem around Wellington homes and businesses, especially when food waste, bins, drains, moisture, and entry points allow them to breed and spread through the property. Guardian Pest Control provides thorough fly control in Wellington, using targeted treatments to reduce activity, treat key problem areas, and help stop flies from entering the building.

Our Fly Treatment Process

Inspection

Our fly inspection checks common activity areas, entry points, food waste, bins, drains, moisture issues, breeding sites, exterior gaps, and surrounding conditions so we can treat the problem properly and reduce the chances of flies entering the property.

Treatment

Our fly treatment uses targeted residual products and key area treatments to reduce activity and help stop flies from entering the property. We focus on areas such as bins, drains, food waste areas, entry points, window frames, doorways, exterior surfaces, and breeding sites where flies are most likely to build up.

Maintenance

Ongoing maintenance treatments and practical advice around waste control, bins, drains, food storage, moisture, breeding sites, exterior gaps, and entry points to help prevent flies from entering the property.

Your local Fly control experts

Flies are more than just an unpleasant pest to find around your home or business. They often build up around bins, food waste, drains, kitchens, outdoor eating areas, and entry points before spreading through the property. Once conditions are right, numbers can increase quickly, especially during warmer weather or where food and moisture are available.

Our Wellington fly control team uses targeted treatments, barrier applications, and practical prevention advice to help reduce activity and lower the chances of flies entering the building.

Common questions & concerns

At Guardian Pest Control, we believe you should know exactly what is being done inside your home or business. From clear, fixed pricing through to explaining the products we use and where they are being applied, we aim to keep the process simple and transparent. Cockroach problems can be stressful, so our goal is to make you feel comfortable, informed, and confident while we get the issue under control.

How do I pay?

We take payment on job completion via our mobile eftpos machine. We also accept cash and bank transfer.

How long does the treatment take?

Expect the ant treatment to take around 90 minutes. It may take less time than this, but it depends on the access to the property, the severity of the infestation, the ant species, and any other issues we find on site. We take pride in doing a thorough job, so we need enough time to inspect and treat the property properly. If you need to leave early, just let the technician know and they can lock up once they’re finished.

Is the treatment pet and child friendly?

All of our treatments are child and pet friendly. If you have any concerns, please let the technician know. They’ll be happy to explain the process and reassure you that your family, pets, and home will be safe, while helping ensure your property stays pest free.

How long does a treatment last?

We provide a 6 month guarantee for fly control on residential properties of any size. On the day of treatment, our technician will give you advice on how to make the treatment last longer. This may include trimming back fruit trees, storing rubbish in a better sealed bin, wiping down surfaces more frequently, or other simple steps to help prevent ants from returning.
