Here at Guardian Pest Control, we are a family-owned business made up of born and raised New Zealanders. We take pride in being a local company with strong family values, a practical work ethic, and a genuine understanding of the environments we work in.

Family History

Our family’s connection to pest control started through a long tradition of hunting, passed down through the generations. Growing up around hunting, the outdoors, and rural New Zealand gave us a hands-on understanding of pest behaviour, land care, and the importance of protecting homes, businesses, farms, and native environments. Hunting animals such as deer, stags, and wild pigs eventually led us into the pest control industry, allowing us to turn that experience into a professional service that helps protect New Zealand properties from pest problems.

We initially traded as Total Pest Control, which has now been developed into our online store, providing lower-cost DIY pest control treatments for residential households. This allows everyday New Zealanders to access affordable pest control products and advice, while Guardian Pest Control focuses on professional pest management services for commercial, residential, and rural clients.Our Approach Our approach is simple: safety first, firm handshakes, hard work, and intelligent pest control solutions. We believe in being straightforward with our clients, giving honest advice, and doing the job properly the first time.

We assess the issue, explain the best course of action, and get to work.We offer commercial, residential, and rural pest control services for any pest issues our clients may come across. This includes rodents, ants, cockroaches, spiders, fleas, bed bugs, borer, birds, wasps, flies, stored-product pests, and other common New Zealand pests.
