Wellington Flea Control

Fleas can spread quickly through Wellington homes, rentals, and pet-friendly properties, especially in carpets, bedding, furniture, floor gaps, and areas where pets rest. Guardian Pest Control provides thorough flea control in Wellington, using targeted treatments to reduce flea activity, treat key areas, and help stop the problem from coming back.

Our Flea Treatment Process

Inspection

We start by checking common flea activity areas, including carpets, rugs, bedding, furniture, floor gaps, pet resting areas, and surrounding rooms so we can understand the level of infestation and treat the property properly.

Treatment

Our flea treatment uses targeted residual products and detailed application in key areas to reduce activity and control the infestation properly. We focus on carpets, rugs, flooring edges, furniture, bedding areas, and places where pets rest to help break the flea life cycle and reduce the chances of them returning.

Maintenance

Ongoing follow-up treatments and practical advice around vacuuming, laundry, pet bedding, furniture, flooring, outdoor resting areas, and pet treatment to help reduce the chances of fleas returning.

Your local Flea control experts

Fleas are more than just an unpleasant pest to find inside your home, rental, or pet-friendly property. They can live in carpets, bedding, furniture, floor gaps, rugs, and pet resting areas, often becoming noticeable once people or pets start getting bitten. Once fleas are established, they can be difficult to control without proper treatment and preparation.

Our Wellington flea control team uses targeted residual treatments and practical preparation advice to help reduce the infestation properly and lower the chances of fleas returning.

Common questions & concerns

At Guardian Pest Control, we believe you should know exactly what is being done inside your home or business. From clear, fixed pricing through to explaining the products we use and where they are being applied, we aim to keep the process simple and transparent. Cockroach problems can be stressful, so our goal is to make you feel comfortable, informed, and confident while we get the issue under control.

How do I pay?

We take payment on job completion via our mobile eftpos machine. We also accept cash and bank transfer.

How long does the treatment take?

Expect the ant treatment to take around 90 minutes. It may take less time than this, but it depends on the access to the property, the severity of the infestation, the ant species, and any other issues we find on site. We take pride in doing a thorough job, so we need enough time to inspect and treat the property properly. If you need to leave early, just let the technician know and they can lock up once they’re finished.

Is the treatment pet and child friendly?

All of our treatments are child and pet friendly. If you have any concerns, please let the technician know. They’ll be happy to explain the process and reassure you that your family, pets, and home will be safe, while helping ensure your property stays pest free.

How long does a treatment last?

We provide a 6 month guarantee for ant control on residential properties of any size. On the day of treatment, our technician will give you advice on how to make the treatment last longer. This may include trimming back fruit trees, storing rubbish in a better sealed bin, wiping down surfaces more frequently, or other simple steps to help prevent ants from returning.
