Your local Ant control experts
Ants may be small, but once they find a reliable food source, they can quickly become a major problem. A few ants in the kitchen can soon turn into long trails, hidden nests, and ongoing activity throughout the property. They are persistent pests that can be difficult to control without identifying the species and treating the problem at its source.
Our Wellington ant control team uses targeted treatment methods, species identification, baiting, exterior spraying, dusting, and site-specific control options to help remove the infestation and reduce the chances of ants returning.

Common questions & concerns
At Guardian Pest Control, we believe you should know exactly what is being done inside your home or business. From clear, fixed pricing through to explaining the products we use and where they are being applied, we aim to keep the process simple and transparent. Cockroach problems can be stressful, so our goal is to make you feel comfortable, informed, and confident while we get the issue under control.
How do I pay?
We take payment on job completion via our mobile eftpos machine. We also accept cash and bank transfer.
How long does the treatment take?
Expect the ant treatment to take around 90 minutes. It may take less time than this, but it depends on the access to the property, the severity of the infestation, the ant species, and any other issues we find on site. We take pride in doing a thorough job, so we need enough time to inspect and treat the property properly. If you need to leave early, just let the technician know and they can lock up once they’re finished.
Is the treatment pet and child friendly?
All of our treatments are child and pet friendly. If you have any concerns, please let the technician know. They’ll be happy to explain the process and reassure you that your family, pets, and home will be safe, while helping ensure your property stays pest free.
How long does a treatment last?
We provide a 6 month guarantee for ant control on residential properties of any size. On the day of treatment, our technician will give you advice on how to make the treatment last longer. This may include trimming back fruit trees, storing rubbish in a better sealed bin, wiping down surfaces more frequently, or other simple steps to help prevent ants from returning.
