Your local Mice control experts
Mice may be small, but they can cause a lot of problems once they get inside your home or business. They can move through wall cavities, ceilings, kitchens, cupboards, garages, and storage areas while contaminating surfaces and damaging packaging, wiring, and insulation. Once they find food, shelter, and a safe nesting spot, activity can quickly increase.
Our Wellington mice control team uses a proper inspection, secure baiting, and practical proofing advice to help get the problem under control and reduce the chances of mice returning.

How to prepare for your Mice treatment
Common questions & concerns
At Guardian Pest Control, we make sure you understand how your mice treatment will be carried out from start to finish. We explain where bait stations are placed, what signs of activity we have found, and what can be done to reduce access around the property. Mice problems can be frustrating, especially when they keep coming back, so we aim to keep everything clear, simple, and properly explained while we get the issue under control.
How do I pay?
We take payment on job completion via our mobile eftpos machine. We also accept cash and bank transfer.
How long does the treatment take?
Expect the ant treatment to take around 90 minutes. It may take less time than this, but it depends on the access to the property, the severity of the infestation, the ant species, and any other issues we find on site. We take pride in doing a thorough job, so we need enough time to inspect and treat the property properly. If you need to leave early, just let the technician know and they can lock up once they’re finished.
Is the treatment pet and child friendly?
All of our treatments are child and pet friendly. If you have any concerns, please let the technician know. They’ll be happy to explain the process and reassure you that your family, pets, and home will be safe, while helping ensure your property stays pest free.
How long does a treatment last?
We provide a 6 month guarantee for ant control on residential properties of any size. On the day of treatment, our technician will give you advice on how to make the treatment last longer. This may include trimming back fruit trees, storing rubbish in a better sealed bin, wiping down surfaces more frequently, or other simple steps to help prevent ants from returning.
